Are you an experienced ADHD Assessor seeking a flexible, fully remote role within a progressive healthcare setting? We are currently recruiting ADHD Assessors for a 2-week contract to support a leading provider of adult ADHD assessment and treatment services across England. This is an excellent opportunity for Nurse or Pharmacist Independent Prescribers to join a reputable team, earn £140 per assessment, and make a positive impact on patient care.

About the ADHD Assessor Role

The ADHD Assessor position is focused on delivering independent ADHD assessments and supporting medication initiation in line with NICE guidelines. Working within a well-governed, patient-centred framework, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, evidence-based care. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule while providing vital assessment services.

Key Responsibilities of the ADHD Assessor

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for adult ADHD patients remotely.
  • Initiate ADHD medication following diagnosis, develop personalised treatment plans, and perform safety reviews.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed electronic clinical records.
  • Engage with patients via secure video, telephone, and messaging platforms.
  • Participate in MDT meetings, safeguarding, and clinical governance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with prescribing standards, policies, and professional guidelines within the ADHD Assessor role.

Candidate Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Registered Nurse or Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber (V300) qualification.
  • Current NMC or GPhC registration.
  • At least 1 year’s experience performing adult ADHD assessments.
  • Minimum 6 months' experience working within a specialist ADHD service (NHS or private).
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills, confident working autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach.
  • Access to a personal laptop (non-NHS/GP owned) and a Smart Card with reader (valid for at least 12 months).
  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check.
