Job Title: ADHD Nurse Prescriber
Employment Type: Contract (2 weeks)
Rate: £60 per hour
Location: Remote and/or face-to-face options available
Outside IR35

Candidate Responsibilities as an ADHD Nurse Prescriber

• Initiate, titrate, and discontinue ADHD medications (stimulant and non-stimulant) based on clinical judgement
• Manage a caseload of clients through the medication pathway, ensuring timely reviews following NICE guidelines
• Generate prescriptions using appropriate formularies, monitoring treatment effectiveness and safety
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive clinical records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care
• Keep abreast of current ADHD research and participate in ongoing professional development
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and professional standards

Candidate Requirements to be an ADHD Nurse Prescriber

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse with an Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
• Registered with the NMC and committed to revalidation
• Proven experience in ADHD assessment and treatment
• Ability to handle complex or crisis situations with professionalism
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Dedicated to maintaining professional registrations and adhering to clinical governance
