ADHD Nurse Prescriber – Remote/Hybrid Salary: £55,000–£65,000
Multiple Roles Available

Location: Remote or hybrid options available, with sites in Basingstoke and Canterbury.
Requirement: Must attend one client meeting per month.

Contract / Locum Clinicians (PAYE only – Inside IR35)

• 3–6 month contracts available
• Extensions beyond 6 months considered
• Associates transitioning from our network will be engaged on a contract inside IR35

Essential Experience

• Previous or recent experience working within an ADHD service environment (minimum 3–6 months preferred)

Role Summary The ADHD Nurse Prescriber will assess, diagnose, and support individuals with ADHD through both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Responsibilities include independent prescribing, medication management, and ongoing clinical reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and provide clear diagnostic feedback
• Produce detailed clinical reports and manage follow-up reviews
• Initiate, titrate, and discontinue ADHD medications (stimulant and non-stimulant)
• Manage caseloads throughout the medication pathway
• Generate and monitor prescriptions in line with safety and clinical guidelines
• Run medication management clinics, including physical health checks
• Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, and other professionals
• Liaise with GP practices and external services, making appropriate referrals
• Assess risk at every contact and escalate safeguarding concerns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ADHD research and best practice

Requirements

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse with Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
• NMC registration and compliance with revalidation requirements
• Experience in ADHD assessment and treatment
