Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced CYP ADOS Assessors to support a specialist neurodevelopmental assessment service delivering high-quality autism diagnostic assessments for children and young people.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified clinicians including Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Workers, and other suitably experienced professionals to join a growing service focused on improving access to timely, person-centred autism assessments.
The successful candidate will complete CYP ADOS assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping children, young people, and families receive accurate assessments and meaningful outcomes. Service Care Solutions are seeking clinicians who are passionate about neurodevelopmental care and delivering high standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities
- Complete CYP ADOS-2 assessments with children and young people as part of an autism diagnostic pathway.
- Gather relevant clinical information, observations, and assessment findings to support diagnostic decision-making.
- Produce clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation and reports.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and other specialist clinicians.
- Ensure assessments are completed in line with NICE guidance, professional standards, and service procedures.
- Provide a compassionate, child-centred approach throughout the assessment process.
- Professional registration with the relevant body (NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England).
- Experience working with children and young people within health, social care, education, or neurodevelopmental services.
- ADOS-2 training and 2 years practical assessment experience is essential.
- Understanding of autism assessment pathways and neurodevelopmental presentations.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to complete high-quality clinical reports.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
