Adult Social Care Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Manchester for an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their legal team on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and progressive local authority, offering a fully remote working arrangement.

Location: Manchester (Fully remote)
Contract: 3 months (with potential to extend)
Rate: £50 – £65 per hour (Umbrella, DOE)
PAYE (Inc.Hol):  £44.50 - £57.68 (DOE)
 
Key Responsibilities as an Adult Social Care Solicitor:

• Managing a caseload of adult social care matters, including Court of Protection work
• Providing legal advice on education law and Special Educational Needs (SEN) matters where required
• Advising councillors, senior officers, and stakeholders on complex legal issues

About you as an Adult Social Care Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive in England & Wales with experience in Adult Social Care Law.
• Proven experience in adult social care law within a local authority setting
• Advocacy experience, particularly within the Court of Protection and tribunals
