Flexible Locum Opportunity | Primary Care | Morecambe / Heysham

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Primary Care Centre in the Morecambe / Heysham area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ACP or ANP seeking flexible locum work to fit around their schedule.

Role Details

• Location:Morecambe / Heysham
• Setting: Primary Care (GP Surgery)
• Rate: £45 per hour (LTD)
• Hours: Typically 8:00am – 6:30pm (flexible)
• Days: Flexible to suit your availability
• Contract: ASAP – March 2026

The Role You will be supporting a busy GP practice, delivering high-quality patient care while managing a diverse caseload. This position offers autonomy alongside collaboration within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver same-day acute clinics, minor illness appointments, and chronic disease management
• Conduct both face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Assess, diagnose, and implement effective treatment plans
• Prescribe safely (if qualified)
• Maintain accurate clinical records using EMIS
• Work closely with GPs, nurses, and the wider MDT
• Provide confident, autonomous decision-making during high-demand periods

Requirements

• Qualified ACP / ANP with primary or urgent care experience
• Level 7 Masters Qualification
• Strong autonomous clinical assessment skills
• Valid Smartcard (essential)
• Proficiency in EMIS
• Full right to work in the UK
