Role Overview As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in urgent care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will typically include:

• Conducting patient assessments and physical examinations
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Referring patients to appropriate services when necessary
• Promoting preventative care and health education
• Managing long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and hypertension
• Documenting care accurately using EMIS or SystmOne

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with ANP qualification
• NMC registration
• Independent Prescriber status
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or walk-in centres
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
