Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to support a well?established GP Surgery in Nottingham. This role offers flexible working and the opportunity to join a highly supportive primary care team.

Working Pattern

• Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (1–3 days per week)
• 8:00am – 6:30pm
• Some flexibility available (must either start at 8:00am or finish at 6:30pm)

Pay / Salary

• Locum: £45 LTD per hour / £39 PAYE Inclusive per hour
• Permanent: Salary dependent on experience

Role Overview The successful practitioner will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary GP practice team, delivering high?quality, evidence?based care across a wide range of patient presentations. You will be responsible for independently assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with both acute and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake full patient assessments including history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Independently manage minor illness and undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribe safely and effectively in line with V300 Independent Prescribing
• Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic tests
• Support management of long?term conditions including:
  • Asthma
  • COPD
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
• Provide health promotion and preventative care advice
• Refer appropriately to secondary care or community services
• Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne
• Work collaboratively with GPs and the MDT
• Contribute to audits, governance, and service quality improvement

Essential Requirements

• Qualified ANP or ACP with full Level 7 Master’s qualification
• V300 Independent Prescribing
• Previous experience within Primary Care / GP Surgery
• Confident user of SystmOne
• Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk effectively
