Annual Review Officer – 2-Week Contract (Fully Remote)
Are you an experienced SEND professional looking for a dynamic role supporting high-volume EHCP Annual Reviews? We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Annual Review Officer to join a busy SEND service on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in managing statutory deadlines and delivering precise casework within a fast-paced environment. The role offers a daily rate of £280 (umbrella) and is initially contracted for 2 weeks, perfect for those seeking short-term contract work.
Key Responsibilities of the Annual Review Officer
As an Annual Review Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing high volumes of straightforward EHCP Annual Reviews, including amendments, communication, and routine case management
- Processing review paperwork efficiently and accurately in line with statutory requirements
- Issuing decision notices, amendments, and final plans within set statutory timescales
- Handling amendments following Annual Review meetings, including updating EHCPs and liaising with relevant parties
- Prioritising workload based on deadlines such as phase transfers and overdue reviews
- Preparing and submitting funding or placement change requests for panel consideration
- Uploading and maintaining accurate documentation, advice, and recommendations
- Communicating effectively with schools, parents/carers, and professionals post-review
- Ensuring all relevant advice and documentation are captured before finalising EHCPs
This role suits confident, experienced SEND professionals familiar with statutory processes and capable of managing a high-volume caseload in a remote setting.
