Approved Premises Residential Worker – Bridgwater, Somerset

Contract | 3–6 months | 37 hrs/week (averaged) | Immediate start available

An Approved Premises in Bridgwater is seeking a Residential Worker to join their team on a temporary basis, with the assignment likely extending to 6 months for the right candidate.

The role:

You'll work a 7-week rolling shift pattern covering days, nights, weekdays and weekends — full rota provided on application. As a Residential Worker, you'll support the day-to-day running of the AP, contributing to the safe and effective management of residents as part of the wider Community Accommodation Service.

What you'll need:

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade C+) including English and Maths, or equivalent qualification/relevant experience
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills — able to interpret policy and write clear reports/correspondence
• Competent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Enhanced Level 1 (EL1) vetting, or willingness/ability to complete this before starting
