About the Asbestos Surveyor Role

As an Asbestos Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will involve conducting asbestos surveys in residential settings, ensuring accurate data collection, and delivering detailed reports. You will be a confident communicator, capable of liaising effectively with clients and team members. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, especially when recording survey data, alongside proficiency with Microsoft Office and asset management software. The position offers a competitive pay rate on a contractual basis, with a company vehicle provided.

Candidate Responsibilities

As an Asbestos Surveyor, your duties will include:

  • Performing asbestos surveys in domestic dwellings within the specified region
  • Accurately recording survey data and maintaining comprehensive reports
  • Ensuring all work complies with current health and safety regulations
  • Communicating findings clearly to clients and team members
  • Maintaining a keen eye for detail when inspecting and recording site conditions
  • Managing all survey documentation digitally and efficiently
  • Driving of a company vehicle to various locations within the operating region
  • Participating in extensive travel throughout the Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and London areas

Candidate Requirements

  • P402 qualification in asbestos surveying
  • Proven experience in domestic asbestos surveys
  • Full UK manual driving license
  • Confident in IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reside near or within the border of the operating region
