About the Role: Asbestos Surveyor

As an Asbestos Surveyor, your main responsibilities will include conducting asbestos surveys across residential dwellings, ensuring all data collected is accurate and complies with industry standards. You will play a vital role in helping clients maintain safe environments and manage asbestos effectively. The successful candidate will have proven experience in asbestos surveys and hold a P402 qualification.

Candidate Responsibilities for the Asbestos Surveyor:

  • Conduct asbestos surveys within domestic and possibly housing association properties.
  • Accurately record survey data using IT systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Communicate findings clearly and confidently with clients and team members.
  • Ensure all survey reports meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Work independently in various locations, travelling to sites within the designated operating region.
  • Maintain tidy and compliant survey practices and documentation.

Candidate Requirements for the Asbestos Surveyor:

  • Previous experience conducting asbestos surveys in domestic settings.
  • Hold a valid P402 asbestos qualification.
  • Confidence in client communication and survey reporting.
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy in data collection.
  • Proficient in IT applications, including MS Office.
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and London.
  • Ideally, experience working with housing associations is preferred but not essential.
  • Live near or on the border of the operating region.
