Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Community Services Manager
As the Assistant Community Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Community Services Manager by:
- Managing and providing expert guidance to a team of social workers, support coordinators, and health practitioners
- Overseeing the delivery of community learning disability services, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and compliance
- Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Manager for safeguarding across the team, ensuring robust safeguarding practices are in place
- Supporting the team in developing and implementing community-based programs that meet the needs of service users
- Ensuring effective communication between team members, external partners, and stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the community services department
Candidate Responsibilities
The successful Assistant Community Services Manager will be responsible for:
