About the Role: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)

As a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services within the community. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care, supporting individuals with mental health needs in Putney and Roehampton.

Candidate Responsibilities for the Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN):

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop care plans
• Offer therapeutic interventions and crisis support to service users
• Collaborate with GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies
• Promote recovery and resilience in service users
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff where necessary
• Attend team meetings and contribute to service development

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) with valid registration
• Previous experience in community mental health settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work in Putney and Roehampton areas
• Availability for a 2-week contract
