Band 6 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Hybrid/Remote) – Contract (2 weeks)

Service Care Solutions is recruiting for an established NHS client seeking an experienced Band 6 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join a Talking Therapies service. This Band 6 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner role offers hybrid/remote working options and supports Adults (18+) with a range of mental health presentations. Contract length: 2 weeks.

Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour (LTD) + £150 Welcome Bonus (paid via Service Care Solutions).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (part-time hours can be considered).

Candidate Responsibilities

• Deliver Low-Intensity CBT services as a Band 6 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, including structured 1:1 treatment for Adults (18+)
• Conduct Low-Intensity CBT assessments as part of the wider MDT
• Provide evidence-based psychological interventions consistent with Talking Therapies pathways
• Work collaboratively with clinicians and stakeholders to support service delivery and positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and risk-aware practice in line with NHS requirements

Candidate Requirements

• BABCP registration is required for this Band 6 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner position
• Qualification in Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner or Low-Intensity CBT (as applicable)
• Demonstrable experience supporting Adults within a Talking Therapies / IAPT environment
• Ability to manage a caseload with strong communication and clinical recording skills
