Key Responsibilities of the Bid Coordinator:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Business Development Team.
- Manage communication with commissioners and purchasers via online portals.
- Organise and oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and grant applications from start to finish.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to ensure timely completion of tenders.
- Conduct daily searches for new business opportunities using various databases and media channels.
- Maintain the Business Development shared drive, ensuring all tender documents are stored securely and correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet business development objectives.
- Support the organisation’s compliance and safeguarding protocols in line with organisational policies.
Candidate Requirements for the Bid Coordinator role:
- Proven experience or demonstrated ability in similar administrative roles and tender processes.
- Sound understanding of competitive tendering procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong administrative skills, including database management, scheduling, and project oversight.
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team-working approach with the ability to work independently when necessary.
