Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update staff rotas.
- Manage holiday requests and expense claims.
- Respond to short-notice changes, sickness, and emergencies to ensure continuity of care.
- Support assessments, care plans, and risk assessments for service users.
- Ensure care is person-centered and meets regulatory standards.
- Monitor care notes and act on concerns promptly
- Provide guidance, support onboarding, training, and supervision of care staff.
- Maintain strong team communication, ensuring staff are motivated and supported.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in care coordination or a senior care role within domiciliary care.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory standards (CQC).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or willingness to complete.
- Care Certificate completed.
- Experience with care rostering/scheduling software (e.g., Careline).
- Flexible, proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
- Passionate about providing outstanding, person-centered care.
