Location: Innovation Centre Medway
Hours: 7am to 5:30pm
Pay: £13.55 Per hour PAYE inc Holiday | £16.37 LTD Umbrella
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to join an established and supportive site team at the Innovation Centre Medway. This is a Temporary locum opportunity working a total of 37 hours per week (7:00am – 5:30pm).
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone practical, reliable, and customer-focused, who takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general caretaking duties to maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented building
- Support contractors and assist with day-to-day site operations
- Set up meeting rooms and event spaces (furniture, equipment, and light cleaning)
- Work closely with the morning caretaker, including daily handovers
- Undertake health & safety responsibilities including Fire Warden duties
- Act as a First Aider (training provided)
- Secure the building at the end of each shift
Requirements
- Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) and willingness to learn new systems
- Experience working with customers or the public
- Previous experience in soft FM (cleaning, waste management, general upkeep)
- Willingness to undertake fire safety and evacuation training
