This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to work within a supportive local authority while managing a realistic and well-structured caseload.

Key Details
- Role: Child Protection Social Worker
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Rate: £33.30 per hour
- Caseload: Approximately 22 cases
- Location: Warwickshire
- Manage a caseload of child protection cases in line with statutory requirements
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and court work as required
- Work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date case records
- Participate in child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified permanent experience in children’s social work
- Proven experience working within Child Protection
- Social Work England registration
- Strong knowledge of UK child protection legislation, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Competitive hourly rate
