About the Role – Children’s Continuing Care Nurse

As a Children’s Continuing Care Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to support the Policy Information and Commissioning (Start Well) team within the Department of PC&CH. This contract provides an excellent opportunity to work remotely while contributing to important projects that shape children's health and social care services.

Your key duties as a Children’s Continuing Care Nurse include:

• Assisting with policy development and implementation for children’s continuing care
• Gathering and analysing data to support commissioning processes
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams via virtual meetings
• Preparing reports and documentation relevant to children’s health care
• Supporting the team in ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• Attending an initial introduction day at County Hall, Preston, in addition to collecting a company laptop
• Working predominantly from home throughout the duration of the assignment

Candidate Responsibilities

The ideal Children’s Continuing Care Nurse will demonstrate:

• Proven experience in children’s health and social care
• Strong understanding of continuing care policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and virtual collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements
