  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all young people is always prioritised
  • Manage safeguarding concerns effectively and in line with local authority procedures

  • Develop effective risk management strategies and behaviour support plans
  • Ensure all incidents are appropriately recorded, investigated, and reviewed
Ofsted & Compliance
  • Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
  • Lead the home towards achieving and maintaining a “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted rating
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and documentation remain fully compliant
  • Oversee audits, monitoring systems, and quality assurance processes
  • Complete Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 requirements effectively

  • Ensure high-quality care planning and placement planning
  • Work closely with local authorities, social workers, education providers, and external professionals
  • Promote positive outcomes in education, independence, emotional wellbeing, and social development
  • Advocate for young people and ensure their voices are heard in all aspects of care
  • Encourage young people to engage in activities, routines, and life opportunities
Operational Management
  • Manage budgets effectively and responsibly
  • Ensure the home remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment
  • Participate in on-call duties as required
  • Support referrals, matching considerations, and placement planning
