Children's Residential Support Worker (Contract)

Candidate Responsibilities as a Residential Support Worker

As a Residential Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compassionate care and support to children and young people in residential settings
  • Implementing individual care plans to meet specific needs
  • Assisting with daily routines such as meal preparation, activities, and personal hygiene
  • Maintaining a safe and encouraging environment
  • Working closely with colleagues and professionals to ensure the wellbeing of residents
  • Completing accurate documentation and reports related to care delivery
  • Promoting positive behaviour and life skills development

Candidate Requirements for the Residential Support Worker Role

  • Experience as a Children’s Residential Worker or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient attitude
  • Level 3 qualification in Children's residential care
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
