Candidate Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, child-centred care, respecting individual needs
- Support emotional, physical, and psychological wellbeing
- Promote equality, inclusion, and challenge discrimination
- Safeguard and promote children’s welfare in line with legislation and policies
- Support children’s personal hygiene, behaviour, and life skills development
- Participate in the development, review, and implementation of care plans
- Support children with leisure, education, and social activities
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and safeguarding procedures
- Undertake household duties, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Administer medication as trained and support children when unwell
- Engage in team meetings, training, and personal development initiatives
- Be flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment adhering to health and safety regulations
