Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance.

You will:

• Lead and develop a strong, motivated staff team
• Create a positive, supportive, and structured environment for young people
• Ensure all safeguarding practices are robust and consistently followed
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and all key documentation
• Drive high standards in line with regulatory and inspection frameworks
• Manage staffing, rotas, performance, and development
• Take ownership of inspections and maintain an “inspection-ready” service at all times
• Build strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within children’s residential care
• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent)
• A full UK driving licence
• Proven leadership experience within a residential setting
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
• The ability to inspire, lead, and develop a team
• A resilient, proactive, and child-centred approach
