  • Deliver and maintain outstanding standards of care and safeguarding
  • Lead, motivate, supervise, and develop the staff team
  • Ensure robust care planning and risk management processes are in place
  • Promote positive outcomes for children and young people across education, health, emotional wellbeing, and independence
  • Manage staffing structures, rotas, recruitment, and performance management
  • Ensure the home operates within budget and organisational expectations
  • Build strong working relationships with local authorities, professionals, and external agencies
  • Drive continuous improvement within the service
  • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and compliance standards are consistently maintained
About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people and who can lead from the front with confidence, resilience, and compassion.

Essential Requirements
  • Experience within Children’s Residential Care
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s home
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards if applicable)
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage challenging situations positively and effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
What’s on Offer
  • Opportunity to lead a well-supported 5-bed home
  • Genuine career progression opportunities
  • Supportive senior leadership structure
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Chance to make a real and lasting difference to young people’s lives
  • Support through Ofsted registration if required
  • A rewarding and impactful leadership opportunity within a growing organisation
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious leader who wants to shape a positive culture, develop a strong team, and provide exceptional outcomes for children and young people.
