Childrens Registered Manager (Permanent) – Manchester (M16)

ServiceCare Solutions is seeking an experienced Childrens Registered Manager to lead the opening and ongoing management of a brand-new children’s residential home in Manchester (M16). This is a unique opportunity to shape a service from its inception and create a therapeutic, child-centred environment that makes a lasting difference to vulnerable young people.

Initially, the service will operate as a 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) provision, before transitioning into a specialist 3-bed Learning Disabilities (LD) service. This role is ideal for an established Childrens Registered Manager looking for a fresh challenge, or a deputy manager ready to take the next step into registration.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Lead the registration and opening as the Childrens Registered Manager, ensuring a smooth, compliant launch
• Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted requirements and the Children’s Homes Regulations
• Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing residential care team
• Drive a positive, therapeutic culture with safety and wellbeing at the forefront as Childrens Registered Manager
• Maintain high standards across safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance
• Manage budgets, staffing, occupancy, and overall operational performance
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, professionals, and key stakeholders
• Ensure each young person receives high-quality, needs-led support and achieves positive outcomes

This Permanent role is offered on a full-time basis. Contract length noted: 2 weeks (placement/assignment scheduling may vary).
