Registered Manager – Residential Child Care Are you an experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager looking for your next opportunity within Residential Child Care?
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a dual-registered residential service supporting children and young people across two solo homes in close proximity. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage two solo residential homes
- Ensure full OFSTED compliance and high-quality care standards
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Lead, motivate, and develop residential staff teams
- Manage care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes
- Build positive relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across the service
- Level 4 Children and Young People Practitioner Qualification, Level 3 Residential Childcare, or equivalent
- A minimum of two years’ experience within the last five years working in children’s residential care
- At least one year’s experience within the last five years supervising or managing staff within a residential setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, OFSTED regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft packages
- A full UK driving licence
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
- Knowledge or experience of Therapeutic Parenting approaches
- Salary between £46,331 – £52,123 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
- 10% discretionary annual bonus

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
