Build Something Exceptional From Day One An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children’s residential home supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Derby.

You’ll play a key role in:
- Leading the home through Ofsted registration and inspection readiness
- Building and developing a stable, motivated, and child-focused team
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people
- Maintaining high-quality care standards in line with Ofsted regulations
- Developing policies, procedures, risk assessments, and compliance documentation
- Building strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
- Driving positive outcomes and continuous improvement across the service
To be considered, you should have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Services)
- Previous experience managing EBD children’s homes or similar settings
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks
- Experience setting up new homes and managing compliance processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and staff development skills
- The ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and support
- Competitive salary of £50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
