Are you ready to take the next step in your Children's Residential Care career? Service Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting for an ambitious and passionate Children's Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Registered Manager looking for their next challenge, but we are also keen to hear from exceptional Deputy Managers who are ready to take the step into their first registration.

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people, developing high-performing teams, and creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.

The Opportunity As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, compliance and operational performance.

You will play a key role in shaping the culture of the service, supporting staff development and ensuring that every child receives the care, stability and support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the residential home.
• Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Promote outstanding safeguarding practices and positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Recruit, develop and inspire a dedicated staff team.
• Drive a positive and child-centred culture throughout the service.
• Manage budgets, resources and operational performance effectively.
• Maintain strong relationships with Ofsted, local authorities and external professionals.
• Ensure robust care planning, risk management and quality assurance processes are in place.
• Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.
• Support the emotional, educational and social development of children and young people.

What We're Looking For We welcome applications from both experienced Registered Managers and strong Deputy Managers who can demonstrate the skills, ambition and leadership qualities needed to successfully manage a residential children's home.

You will ideally have:

• Experience working within Children's Residential Care.
• A strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards where appropriate).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
