We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Cleaner / Equipment Hygiene Assistant to join a busy and rewarding clients service in Leeds.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a vital community service that helps people live independently by ensuring essential equipment is cleaned, safe, and ready for reuse.
The Role
You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing returned community equipment so it can be safely reissued to service users. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high hygiene standards and ensuring equipment is available when needed.

Key Duties
- Cleaning and disinfecting returned equipment to a high standard
- Dismantling and reassembling equipment for thorough cleaning
- Operating cleaning machinery including washers and dryers
- Using appropriate cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
- Carrying out quality checks and preparing items for redistribution
- Recording and tracking equipment using internal systems
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (essential)
- Experience using cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic IT skills for data entry and record keeping
- A positive, team-focused attitude
Working HoursMonday to Friday
- Week 1: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Week 2: 10:00am – 6:00pm
