We are searching for an experienced Clinical Coder to help support our client in the Staffordshire Area on a part-time, locum basis.
Location: Cumberland House Surgery, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 8AP
Hours: 3 days per week (onsite only) | Flexible around core hours
Duration: Immediate start – approximately 1 month
Rate: £17 LTD p.h (Via Umbrella)
Job Description Cumberland House Surgery is seeking an experienced Clinical Coder to support the practice on a temporary, onsite basis. This position requires the successful candidate to work on site throughout the duration of the assignment; remote working is not available.
The role will involve the accurate and timely coding of clinical information to support safe, effective, and compliant healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately code clinical data from patient records in accordance with national and local standards
- Maintain high standards of data quality and clinical record accuracy
- Update and manage patient records using EMIS
- Review, process, and file clinical correspondence via Docman
- Support the practice in clearing coding backlogs where required
- Work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure accurate record-keeping
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable experience working as a Clinical Coder within a healthcare setting
- Proven experience using EMIS
