Commercial Development Manager – Hybrid – Private Consultancy £60,000 - £80,000 Bonus (OTE 6-Figure)
Full Time | Permanent

Overview We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Development Manager to join a growing consultancy specialising in decarbonisation, retrofit and engineering services based in the North West. 

This role will take ownership of developing and securing public sector contracts, playing a key role in driving business growth across construction, M&E and energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver business development strategy targeting public sector clients
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers
• Identify and secure new opportunities across frameworks and direct awards
• Manage pipeline, KPIs and sales forecasting
• Support bid submissions and tender processes
• Track opportunities and maintain CRM systems
• Provide regular reporting on activity and performance

Requirements

• Proven track record in securing public sector contracts
• Strong network within local authorities, NHS, education or housing
• Background in construction, building services or energy sector
• Experience managing sales pipelines and bid processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
