Commercial Property Paralegal

Service Care Solutions is working in partnership with a local authority, based in Leicestershire, which is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join their legal team. The position can be undertaken on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from the office once a week.
 
Role: Commercial Property Paralegal
Location: Leicestershire – Fully Remote or Office-Based Once a Week
Umbrella Rate: £25–£30 per hour
PAYE Inc. Rate: £21.87 - £26.22 per hour
Hours: 3 months ongoing, full-time, 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial property instructions, including recording cases on SOLCASE, preparing Section 25 notices, completion statements and associated legal documentation.
• Handle HM Land Registry matters, including voluntary land registrations, Index Map searches and responses to Land Registry enquiries.
• Provide basic legal advice, draft documents from precedents, and manage the identification, invoicing and recovery of costs on behalf of the County Council.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Commercial Property Paralegal or in a similar property-focused legal role, ideally within a local authority or public sector legal team.
• Experience dealing with Land Registry applications, registrations and enquiries.
• Knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, particularly Section 25 notices, would be advantageous.
