Commercial Property Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a bustling Local Authority, based in Solihull, which is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their Legal Services team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with strong commercial property experience and some residential property experience to work on a varied caseload of high-value development and local authority matters.
 
Role: Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Solihull Council (Hybrid Working)
Umbrella Rate: £65 - £68.09 per hour
PAYE Inc. Rate: £56.65 - £59.34 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week (3 days per week)
Contract: 3 months ongoing
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, with some residential property matters where required.
• Providing legal advice on local government property law, with a particular focus on property development projects.
• Supporting large-scale commercial development transactions from instruction through to completion.

Key Requirements:

• Be a Qualified Solicitor holding a current practising certificate and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
• Have significant experience in commercial property law, ideally within a local authority or public sector environment.
• Possess strong knowledge of property development and be confident handling large-scale commercial transactions.
• Have some residential property law experience.
