Community Nurse

Band 5 RGN – Community Nurse Location: Stafford, NHS Midlands
Pay: £21.50 – £33.00 (LTD)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: As soon as possible
Days: Sunday to Saturday
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00

Role Overview We are recruiting an experienced Band 5 Registered General Nurse (Community Nurse) to join a busy and supportive NHS community team in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with community or district nursing experience who are looking for a stable, full time assignment.

Key Requirements

• NMC 
• District Nursing and/or Community Nursing experience
• Confident working autonomously in patients’ homes and community settings
• Able to manage a varied caseload, including wound care, injections, long term condition management, and general community assessments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Car driver with access to a vehicle is preferred (typical for community roles)

What the Role Involves

• Delivering high quality community nursing care across Stafford
• Assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with varying clinical needs
• Supporting wound care, dressings, catheter care, medication administration, and general community interventions
• Liaising with the wider MDT to ensure safe continuity of care
• Working independently while contributing to a supportive community team
