Community Nurse / Practice Nurse – Summer Holiday Cover in Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Waveney & Lowestoft

Are you an experienced Community Nurse or Practice Nurse looking for flexible locum work during the summer months? Service Care Solutions is actively seeking dedicated Community Nurses and Practice Nurses to provide vital support across Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Waveney, and Lowestoft from mid-July to early September 2026. Job Title: Community Nurse / Practice Nurse

Contract Duration: 3 months (Ad Hoc)

Location: Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Waveney, Lowestoft

Pay Rate:

• £37 p/h via Umbrella / £32.50 PAYE (Weekdays)
• £40 p/h via Umbrella / £35 PAYE (Weekends)
• Plus a £150 Welcome Bonus*

Working Schedule:

• Days: Monday to Saturday
• Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Candidate Responsibilities:
As a Community Nurse / Practice Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing patient care independently within the community setting
• Delivering diabetes care and management
• Administering B12 injections and subcutaneous injections
• Conducting wound assessments and providing wound care, including lower limb wound management (training required)
• Catheter care (male, female, suprapubic)
• Ensuring patient safety and high standards of care across a community-based environment

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Valid NMC registration as a Community Nurse / Practice Nurse
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
• Proven community nursing experience, including district or practice nursing
• Confidence in managing a community caseload

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with compression bandaging and systems
• Use of electronic patient record systems
• Competency in wound care and other community-specific procedures

Important Notes:
This assignment falls inside IR35, with payments processed via PAYE Umbrella company. Limited company contractors are encouraged to apply; however, payments will be subject to IR35 deductions at source.
