Community Psychiatric Nurse – Older Adult Team – Bedford

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join the Older Adult Team within the NHS in Bedford.

Role Details:

• Location: Bedford
• Setting: Community-based
• Client Group: Older Adults
• Contract Length: Initial 2 months with potential for extension
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (Full-time)
• Pay Rate: £27 per hour Umbrella  (£21.46 PAYE per hour)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist mental health care to older adults in the community
• Conduct assessments, develop and review care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards

Requirements:

• NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse
• Experience working in community mental health settings with older adults
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
