Community Psychiatric Nurse

Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Preston | Monday to Friday | £26 Umbrella / PAYE Options Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our NHS clients for an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join their Community Mental Health Team based in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mental health professional seeking stable weekday working hours within a supportive NHS service.

Role Overview The successful candidate will work as part of an established community team, supporting adults with a range of mental health conditions. Duties will typically include:

• Managing a defined caseload of service users with complex mental health needs
• Completing mental health assessments, formulating care plans, and delivering evidence based interventions
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing safe, effective risk management plans
• Liaising closely with Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Support Workers, Psychologists and the wider MDT
• Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards
• Providing crisis intervention and urgent support where required

This is a structured, Monday–Friday role with no weekend or evening commitments.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Full time, ongoing NHS contract

Pay Options

• £26 per hour – Umbrella
• PAYE options also available

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration
• Experience working as a CPN or within community mental health services
• Strong assessment, caseload management and risk management skills
• Ability to work independently within a community based setting
