Contribution Co-Ordinator (Cheshire) – Contract (2 weeks)
Are you an experienced Contribution Co-Ordinator who thrives on planning, people engagement and delivering high-impact community events? We’re seeking a motivated Contribution Co-Ordinator to support the countywide rollout of the successful “Cheshire Contribution” pilot projects—helping bring people together through volunteering and co-design across green open spaces in Cheshire.
What you’ll be doing (Candidate Responsibilities)
As the Contribution Co-Ordinator, your role will focus on ensuring smooth operational delivery and strong partner coordination throughout the contract period. You will:
- Coordinate the Contribution Co-Ordinator programme to ensure an efficient process and effective on-site management for event completion
- Create an operational guide, including checklists, safety protocols, risk assessments, inductions, and ensuring all equipment is ready
- Plan, deliver and coordinate events as the Contribution Co-Ordinator, including marketing material development to attract suitable stakeholders, volunteers and community participants
- Recruit volunteers and local residents as part of the Contribution Co-Ordinator role, and identify trusted local hosts/convenors for activity on the ground
- Work with partnerships (local authorities, public bodies and organisations) to co-create projects in high-visibility locations
- Act as the single point of contact for Contribution Co-Ordinator programme queries, providing advice to participating individuals and supporting agencies
- Support communications by engaging stakeholders, delivering briefings, and promoting the programme with the Comms team
- Produce reports on effectiveness (numbers involved and positive case studies) and maintain a clear understanding of community cohesion opportunities
