Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Event Co-Ordinator to work as a Contributions Co-Ordinator for a Public Sector client, based in Runcorn, Cheshire.
This is a full-time, long-term contract, paying £15.71p per hour (PAYE).
Job Purpose
To scale up the successful “Cheshire Contribution” pilot projects that revitalise green/open spaces across the county, enabling people seeking asylum to visibly contribute to local communities and supporting social cohesion through volunteering and co-design. The role is primarily based at Runcorn Town Hall, with time spent at external sites delivering projects.

Role Accountabilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and on-site coordination of Cheshire Contribution events/projects.
- Ensure efficient processes are in place, including day-of event management and task completion.
- Produce an operational guide (checklists, inductions, safety protocols and risk assessments).
- Arrange/confirm equipment and resources needed to complete tasks.
- Develop marketing materials and support promotion to attract stakeholders, local communities and volunteers.
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers/local residents; identify local hosts/convenors and maintain ongoing liaison.
- Build relationships with local authorities, public bodies and partners to co-create high-visibility projects.
- Act as the single point of contact for the programme, advising participants and partner agencies.
- Track outcomes and produce reports/case studies, supporting comms activity and key messaging.
- Educated to Level 4 (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Significant experience coordinating events/activities end-to-end.
- Experience recruiting/working with volunteers and community stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail (including safe working practices).
