About the Role – Conveyancing Team Leader

As a Conveyancing Team Leader, you will oversee and manage a busy residential conveyancing department, ensuring smooth transaction progressions and delivering outstanding client service. You will support and develop your team, manage your own portfolio of clients and referrers, and contribute to the ongoing success of our firm. The role is full-time, based in Lincoln, with a contract length of 2 weeks initially.

Candidate Responsibilities – Conveyancing Team Leader

  • Efficiently manage/support a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including:
    • Freehold & leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages and transfers of equity
    • New-build transactions
    • Shared Ownership Schemes
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the conveyancing team to ensure high standards of service
  • Develop and grow your portfolio of clients and referrers
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Law Society's Conveyancing Protocol and CQS framework
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Ensure adherence to firm's quality standards, deadlines, and compliance requirements
  • Support and contribute to business development initiatives, enhancing the firm’s profile

Candidate Skills & Attributes – Conveyancing Team Leader

  • Licensed Conveyancer, Lawyer, Solicitor, or Legal professional with relevant experience
  • Proven case management experience, ideally with Proclaim and Perfect Portal knowledge
  • Positive, charismatic, and confident personality with strong relationship-building skills
  • Creative and practical thinker with outstanding communication and written skills
  • Presentable, adaptable, and able to reflect the Ringrose Law brand
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and a proactive team player with leadership capabilities
  • Experience in managing and developing teams and portfolios
