Key Responsibilities of the Decorator
As a Decorator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out internal and external decorating works within occupied and vacant social housing properties.
- Preparing surfaces by filling, sanding, stripping, and priming to ensure smooth finishes.
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and decorative finishes to a professional standard.
- Completing repairs to walls, ceilings, and woodwork before decorating.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.
- Maintaining accurate job records via handheld devices.
- Delivering excellent customer service while working within tenants' homes.
- Maintaining the company vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure they are in good condition.
