Candidate Responsibilities for the Digital DevOps Lead:

• Lead and support the delivery of AWS environments and code deployments for the Benefits Supporting Services (BSS) team.
• Drive and promote a DevOps culture through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Build, improve, and deploy reliable services, producing comprehensive documentation.
• Identify areas where best practices are not being followed and advise on improvements.
• Lead on large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Automate environment build and support, utilizing industry best practices.
• Support development and testing capabilities within AWS environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Lead, especially within AWS environments.
• Strong automation skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience supporting legacy systems and integrating them into modern environments.
• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
