About the Role: Senior Digital Java Developer

The Senior Digital Java Developer will lead or direct a team of talented Java developers, overseeing the development of robust, automated test suites to support continuous deployment pipelines. You will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side web applications, implementing APIs for both internal and external use, and contributing to the overall architecture of high-traffic websites. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will also have experience with system administration, configuration management, handling large data sets, and scaling storage solutions. Knowledge of web architecture and experience with Unix-like operating systems such as Linux and macOS are essential.

Candidate Responsibilities: Senior Digital Java Developer

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, ensuring project delivery within allocated timelines.
• Build, test, and maintain automated test suites to support continuous integration and deployment.
• Develop and implement APIs for internal and external applications.
• Participate in 2nd-line support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to web applications and platforms.
