We are currently recruiting an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join a Children’s Centre / Family Support setting within the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. This is a part-time role supporting children aged birth to 5 years, working closely with families and multi-agency partners to deliver high-quality early years care, learning and family support.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join a Children’s Centre / Family Support setting within the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. This is a part-time role supporting children aged birth to 5 years, working closely with families and multi-agency partners to deliver high-quality early years care, learning and family support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care, learning and development activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Work directly with children and families, offering guidance and support to promote children’s emotional, physical and learning development
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families, including those facing vulnerability or complex needs
- Identify concerns relating to safeguarding and child welfare, escalating appropriately in line with policies and procedures
- Contribute to session planning, delivery and reflective evaluation
- Maintain accurate records, case notes and reports as required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to provide joined-up support for families
- Recognised Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3 or equivalent)
- Substantial experience working in an early years or children’s centre setting
- Strong working knowledge of EYFS
- Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Experience supporting children and families with additional or complex needs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience within a Children’s Centre or Family Support service
- Experience of multi-agency working and report writing
