Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children and families? We are seeking dedicated Early Intervention Worker to join Enfield Council's Family Hubs on a short-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support families from pregnancy through early childhood, helping them build confidence, resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.
Job Title: Early Intervention Worker
Location: Enfield (Family Hubs, Children’s Centres & Community Settings)
Contract Length: 2 weeks
Pay Rate: £21.67 per hour (Umbrella)
Start Date: Immediate (as soon as possible)
Candidate Responsibilities
As an Early Intervention Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering early intervention and family support services to children and families
- Working with families from pregnancy through early childhood development
- Facilitating group-based and targeted interventions within Family Hubs and community settings
- Supporting parents and carers in enhancing their parenting skills and confidence
- Promoting early help strategies, play, communication, and child development
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure timely and effective support
- Supporting safeguarding procedures and contributing to the early identification of family needs
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in early help, early intervention, or family support services
- Background in children’s centres, Family Hubs, or early years settings
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 and their families
- Ability to deliver both 1:1 and group-based interventions
- Strong communication and engagement skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working
