Contract Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Pay rate: £26 per hour (Umbrella)
- Contract length: Temporary, 3 months initially, with potential extension
Role Responsibilities In this post, you’d be a key part of a specialist community Eating Disorders team, working with adults (and sometimes young people, depending on the service). Duties usually include:
Carrying out comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
- Managing a caseload of service users with eating disorders (e.g. anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder)
- Delivering evidence-based interventions and care planning
- Monitoring physical health (weights, bloods, ECGs, risk indicators)
- Supporting relapse prevention and recovery-focused goals
- Working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, dietitians, and support workers
- Liaising with GPs, acute hospitals, families, and other community services
- Maintaining clear, accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS and Trust standards
