Educational Psychologist – Interim Contract
(Hybrid/Remote options)
Are you an experienced Educational Psychologist ready to make a direct impact on children and young people with SEND? We are supporting our client with the completion of statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments.
Pay / Rate
- £1,300 per assessment (Inside IR35) (£930-1000 PAYE per assessment)
- Each statutory assessment is expected to take approximately 2 days
- Face-to-face preferred, with hybrid/remote options available (rates may vary for fully remote delivery)
Candidate Responsibilities
As an Educational Psychologist, you will be expected to:
- Complete statutory Educational Psychologist assessments within required timeframes
- Produce clear, evidence-based psychological advice reports for EHC decision-making
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
- Ensure all work complies with statutory guidance and local authority standards
- Manage your own caseload effectively to meet strict deadlines
Required Experience / Essential Criteria
To be considered for the Educational Psychologist position, you must:
- Hold HCPC registration (mandatory)
- Have minimum 3 years’ UK local authority experience as an Educational Psychologist
- Demonstrate proven experience completing statutory assessments and writing EP advice
- Be able to work to strict deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload
