Educational Psychologist – Contract Opportunity in East London

Are you an experienced Educational Psychologist seeking a flexible and rewarding interim role? We are currently recruiting for three dynamic Educational Psychologists to support a local authority SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) service in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a temporary contract for 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension, offering flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule.

About the Role – Educational Psychologist

As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs. You will conduct high-quality assessments in school settings, providing crucial insights and recommendations for SEND decision-making. The role involves face-to-face assessments at schools and educational provisions, with report writing completed remotely from home. The rate is £634.50 per day (Umbrella), and the contract length is 2 weeks.

Candidate Responsibilities – Educational Psychologist

• Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments in schools and educational settings
• Gather information from children, families, schools, and other professionals
• Produce clear, detailed, high-quality reports and advice
• Provide professional psychological guidance to support SEND decisions
• Collaborate effectively with education staff, families, and other professionals
• Manage project deadlines and assessment workload efficiently

Required Skills – Educational Psychologist

• Qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist
• Proven experience conducting statutory SEND assessments
• Strong knowledge of educational psychology practice within local authority settings
• Ability to undertake face-to-face assessments in schools or educational provisions
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
