We are currently recruiting for Educational Psychologists to support a local authority SEND service in East London.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Educational Psychologists looking for a flexible interim assignment, with availability ranging from 1 to 5 days per week to support the equivalent of 3 full-time posts.
About the Role
You will be responsible for completing high-quality psychological assessments to support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
The role involves attending schools and educational provisions to carry out assessments face-to-face, followed by report writing completed remotely from home.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake psychological assessments with children and young people in schools and educational settings
- Gather information from children, families, schools, and professionals
- Produce clear, high-quality written reports and advice
- Provide professional psychological advice to support SEND decision-making
- Work collaboratively with education staff, families, and wider professionals
- Manage allocated assessments and meet agreed deadlines
- Qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist
- Experience completing statutory SEND assessments
- Strong knowledge of educational psychology practice within local authority settings
- Ability to undertake face-to-face assessments in schools/provisions
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
